| Karen Billing | I booked 2 Dhol drummers Dec 07 for a charity event I held in Watford in which the actor Jeremy Irons attended & was our guest of honour. The event was to raise money for charities in Nepal & India - to help orphanages, education & to prevent the selling of young girls as slaves in rural Nepal through www.nepalorphanshome.org and www.shivacharity.org It was an evening with a number Asian influences with music and dance. The drummers came on stage after Mr Irons spoke and had everyone mesmerised. Their skills and the music surpassed all expectations - it was fantastic! The 2 drummers were very professional & really lovely to meet & speak to. I would have no hesitation booking them again - they were a big hit! |
